About Matthew Dilallo

I am a Technical Artist and Experience Designer with 6+ years merging artistry with technology. I have shipped multiple projects for clients including Samsung, IEEE and Metrolinx. Moreover, for the last four years I have shipped several pivotal updates for Vegas Infinite (formerly known as PokerStarsVR) at LuckyVR. Such milestones include Slots launch, Casino One, Casino Suite and the launch of the game on PSVR2 for PS5.My career started as a humble animator. After several years of working in broadcast I switched focus toward being a 3D Generalist. It wasn’t until I worked in interactive advertising that I was introduced to Virtual and Augmented Reality platforms which steered me toward Technical Art. Technical Skills:I am well-versed in Maya, Unity3D and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) while having working knowledge of Unreal. Tool and pipeline development (including Maya auto rigging) experience in C# and Python. Front-end development including UI design and integration. Shader development for Unity in both Shader Graph and HLSL. Platforms I have delivered projects on include PC, Android, Vive, Quest 2 and Playstation 5 (PSVR2). Career Highlights:Throughout my career, I've been privileged to work on projects that have helped shape the future of digital artistry and immersive storytelling. Whether it’s crafting a giant robot VR game for Samsung's MWC Barcelona booth or a prototype VR bus driver training simulator for Metrolinx and the new Union Station terminal in Toronto. Most recently, I have helped build a virtual Vegas casino in the metaverse.Let's connect and explore how we can create engaging immersive experiences together!
