As an Advisory Board Member, I was selected as one of 13 of 140 applicants to strategically advise the Teach for America executive leadership and DACA National team on issues regarding immigration. In this role, I advocated for the creation of mandatory, immigrant-led workshops on supporting undocumented students for first year teachers and numerous resources for DACAmented TFA Corps Members. This advocacy later resulted in national adoption where I created and led sessions that provided historical context and resources for supporting undocumented students in 9 Teach for America regions to hundreds teachers.

- Worked in tandem with Immigration Attorney to create memorandums to provide legal information to clients- Offered services to undocumented communities through a legal services platform- Conducted outreach in Spanish to communities that did not feel comfortable accessing public resources- Received training in immigration law to provide information of legal remedies to individuals without lawful status
