I am responsible for leading / managing the ICT Architecture team which designs and maintain technical infrastructure related to all company's Corporate Data Centres located around the world.Major responsibilities vested on me are Providing Technical direction to the ICT Architecture team on designing and deploying efficient and cost / business effective commissioning and maintenance of corporate infrastructure related to Virtual Environments such as VMWare , Microsoft Hyper V, Servers, Storages, Backups and Microsoft SQL and MySQL related database services. Providing technical and business insights / direction to the Governance & Compliance division of the company on preparation and maintenance of policies ,processes and procedures related to all aspects of corporate infrastructure related to ICT architecture division . Implement and Manage effective support model to provide technical assistance on issues related to corporate servers and Infrastructure support in order to ensure 24/7 operations business functions of the company. Capacity planning / Streamlining the technical aspects of business services deployment. Preparation of corporate budgets related to IT in order to streamline existing data centres and cater to new infrastructure procurement / upgrades requirements. Timely recruitment of required human resources, skill management / upgrade of the team resources in ICT architecture team. Proposing, Implementation and management of corporate data centres which are spread in geo locations ( Malaysia and Sri Lanka ) Review Business and Technical requirements and implementation ( Business Continuity Planning -BCP / Disaster Recovery -DR ) for company’s clients to accommodate their business policies and compliance needs. Carrying out scheduled and adhoc BCP and DR drills to cater corporate compliance requirements.

As the Assistant General Manager of the Credit Information Bureau of Sri Lanka (CRIB) I was serving the bureau as a top management strategic decision maker in the General Management team. During my tenure in the bureau which spanned over a half a decade; I strategised, initiated and spearheaded the teams who successfully implemented following projects. Bureau Business Services (BBS) ( http://bbs.crib.lk )The Bureau Business Services is a strategic framework which the architecture was proposed and designed to strengthen the existing bureau services and provide novel services integrating to general public as well as corporates via latest technological methods to provide credit information timely to make sensible decisions either business or personal. iReport Online ServiceiReport service enabled the general public of Sri Lanka to obtain their respective credit information from anywhere any time securely via internet. As a phase two initiative this service was expected to be extended to corporates. The Secured Transactions Register ( http://www.str.lk )Secured Transactions Registries are novel lending model highly praised by Donor agencies such as World Bank Group (WBG) and Internation Financial Corporation (IFC) as very effective business systems to be implemented in developing countries such as Sri Lanka. Lead the designed of a effective business & technical framework to accommodate the business needs in multi-channel cost effective technical platform and thereby led my team to develop and implement the system in strict time-lines for the Bureau and Government to achieve economic targets agreed with world bank. Apart from my duties related to ICT, as a member of the general management, I was actively involved in liaising on projects with various donor agencies such as IFC, World Bank Group on projects such as introducing / amending credit related laws in the country
