Job Title:Senior Associate I – Strata and High Net Worth (HNW) UnderwritingKey Responsibilities:• Assist in underwriting Strata and HNW business within defined limits, aiming to meet departmental growth objectives and increase Gross Written Premium (GWP).• Ensure adherence to EIC policies and procedures related to Strata and HNW underwriting, implementing them operationally in daily tasks.• Maintain accuracy and transparency in Strata underwriting operations, including the proper uploading of strata tenders to the government Mollak system.• Proactively engage with customers and brokers, addressing queries and providing solutions in line with EIC underwriting guidelines.• Manage underwriting records, ensure confidentiality, and collaborate with the claims team for review of claims and reserves.• Underwrite portfolios in accordance with underwriting and treaty guidelines, while working towards achieving target loss ratios.• Collaborate with the team to meet departmental goals and provide support during staff absences.• Prepare tender presentations and assist in marketing efforts for key industry events.• Support the outward FAC team in larger risk placements and maintain key reinsurer relationships.• Assist with internal audits and portfolio performance analysis, ensuring compliance with service standards and turnaround times (TATs).
