I was promoted as the Director of the freight forwarding division and entrusted with more responsibilities to take the organization forward. I am directly responsible for the overhead & income budget of the organization, recruitments & resource deployment in the departments of freight & customs clearance while making sure that our customers are been delivered the desired service levels in order to retain and sustain in the market.

In September 2013 I joined Chrisslogix as the general manager in charge of the freight forwarding division and took the challenge to develop freight forwarding operation at Chrisslogix since at the time Chrisslogix was mainly been a warehouse service provider. With my experience in the freight forwarding industry and together with the management of the company, I was able to develop the freight forwarding business from scratch to a significant level. My main responsibility was to develop international freight (Air & Sea) alongside the clearing & forwarding, preparation of income budgets, and achieving the same. I was overlooking the business development, customer service & operations departments as additional responsibilities.

In 2010 I was promoted as the Senior Manager Sales & Marketing and entrusted the responsibility as head of the sales & marketing team. I was responsible for managing the team and driving them to achieve the targets in terms of contribution & customer satisfaction in the departments of international freight & customs clearance. Further developments of products/trade lanes & agency networks were my main responsibilities apart from managing the team while ensuring the development of their professional careers & the growth of the organization in the corporate arena.

I was then promoted to the position of Asst. Manager in lieu of my performance achieving target contributions & customer satisfaction at high standards. I was also entrusted with trade lane development such as Europe & Far East for freight and also, I continued to develop clearing and forwarding business and achieved greater heights in sales and marketing during this tenure.

I was responsible to achieve the set contribution targets in freight & customs clearing. Negotiate rates with shipping lines, airlines, consolidators in order to be competitive in the market. Achieve the target sales visits & secure new business in order to meet the budgets. Further coordination with the clearing & forwarding team to ensure timely deliveries to the customers was also one of my key functions.

Develop and promote general freight forwarding business on monthly profit targets. Simultaneously developed new customers and existing customers in order to maintain and expand businesses operations.Further in this process I handled all related correspondence and was responsible for costing for cargo operations & quotations to clients. Coordination with our overseas agents / Shipping lines and Air lines, Custom clearance and operation department to ensure efficient and timely services to the clients.I was also handling air freight & sea freight documentation & customer service at the early stage of my employment.
