The primary objective of the project was to create a simulation tool to perform red/blue team activities where the blue team introduced vulnerabilities and the red team exploited them. This setup was a cheaper alternative to other simulation tools available in the market as it mostly uses open-source products and services combined with Windows Server 2016 to manage the servers and machines.Responsibilities:• Acted as a liaison between the stakeholders and the development team to identify the business needs, business rules and business process specifications.• Worked in an agile framework to allow for the rapid development of the network-based architecture application.• Worked along with the Project manager in creating Project Charter and Scope.• Performed real-time status monitoring of security equipment (IPS, firewalls, etc.) and systems (servers, clients, etc.) using various tools (e.g. SIEM) to identify potential security incidents, threats, and vulnerabilities. • Performed troubleshooting and problem resolution on security equipment and systems.• Implemented security controls, validations, best practices, and enable mechanisms for incident response and data breach detection.• Leveraged attack and vulnerability scanning tools to test the assets for vulnerabilities and to immediately highlight errors in system configuration, the need for the application of fixes and patches, and other security-related changes.• Assisted the team to conduct UI Testing, Functional Testing, Compliance Testing, Performance Testing and develop the Test Plan, Test Conditions, Test Cases to test new scenarios and thresholds.

This project was focused on Risk Mitigation of the ACE Project Space building at Red River College by using a previous risk assessment report.Responsibilities:● Conducted risk-based review on risk assessment reports submitted by a previous team.● Performed GAP analysis, risk analysis and feasibility analysis, to find the required places of improvement, applicability, and practicality of the modifications and to calculate an approximate budget.● Gathered requirements using techniques such as interviews, document analysis, brainstorming and focus groups to build a satisfactory application capable of matching the project scope and stakeholder expectations.● Worked together with the team in defining acceptance criteria for user stories and aided with estimation and prioritization using Moscow for prioritization and Planning Poker for estimation of user story sizes.● Attended daily scrum sessions to firmly understand project status and resolved potential conflicts and challenges.● Facilitated user acceptance testing, invited business users and catalogued reviews to ensure the application was user friendly, error-free and met the expectations and needs of the end-user.
