Warehouse Supervisor
Current Monitoring and controlling the disbursement of supplies and material through directing the posting of inventory control cards or automated systems Coordinating with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes, such as customer sales, order management, accounting, or shipping Planning and developing strategy for route plans; direct-to-trade delivery and OEM-to-Trade; reducing transportation loss and detentions Streamlining multiple transport and freight providers to contracts with primary carriers that result in reducing freight costs both domestically and on international shipping routes Appraising employee performance through the review of completed work assignments and work techniques Allocating work to the staff, with ensuring equal employment opportunity in hiring and promotion Improving employee productivity by establishing production standards & reduced injury claims through introduction of safety awareness program Developing and incorporating inventory control measures to reduce obsolete stock, tracking slow-moving items and achieving reduction in inventory management cost
