1. Independently manage, review & control of all Electrical Operation & Maintenance activities for main plant, BOP & 220 Kv switchyard.2. Monitoring timely maintenance for smooth and efficient operation of the plant.3. Responsible for cost control, inventory management and procurement plan of spares.4. Achieve control over maintenance expenses and take corrective actions.5. To ensure execution of Electrical related jobs emerging from various Forums.6. Responsible for initiating modification, up gradation of Electrical systems to enhance safety and improved performance of equipments & systems.7. Reviewing and formulating methods for enhancing process efficiency for maximum power generation.8. Monitoring of sanctioned projects to ensure timely completion and minimizing costs9. Ensure safe and hazard free working environment of electrical system.10. Implement and ensure on job training, job rotation, outside visit/course .11. Ensure communication and practicing of corporate / unit policies, vision, mission values and corporate strategies.12. Developing/Training of the area manpower and retaining skilled manpower.13. Ensure implementation of TPM activities, OHSAS, HR policies and Management initiatives14. Observing and enforcing compliance with safety regulations according to the CEA.15. Coordination activities between operations, technical and different maintenance sections.16. Dealing with government statutory authorities CEA for compliance of operation & maintenance of Electrical equipments. Providing guidance to other departments of the plant in this respect.
