• Localizes the Project by Identifying right tool vendors through QCDDM (Quality, Cost, Development, Delivery, and Management) and Develop new Injection Mould Tool for new parts/assembly line after getting Project kick off from Honda up to Start of Production (SOP). • Prepare tool capacity & production capacity analysis of suppliers and take necessary actions. • Prepare Tonnage Calculation, Part cost & Tool Cost Calculation.• Working as a Team Leader and coordinate with the Customer, Internal and Local Suppliers.• Visiting Supplier End for technical support & also to set up the process so that required quality & target dates can be achieved, planned supplier audit on the basis of HONDA supplier QAV-II step 2~5.• Interacting with vendors for resolving defects in components (feasibility of parts), Tool Design review with supplier, Clarification of all the technical Specs & provide SPECLA (Specification and clarification for electrode design) for Tool Room activities and follow-up for the same in India & abroad.• Conduct tool trials at in-house/supplier end and qualify tools as per part print. • Coordinate for tool modifications, if required.• Set up new assembly line, train operators and establish production output for new products• Prepare process plan, quality plan, and documentations, as required.• Planning of inventory for all parts/assembly to perform pilot and production run

• Ensure the Project time line with respect to plans for the Product Management teams in respect to achieve successful product solutions. • Managing the projects with strong leadership and management skills.• Provide all design specifications needed for product development (shapes, materials, colors, textures, processes, manufacturing techniques, tooling and quality) • Work with cross-functional teams such as marketing, finished goods group, tooling suppliers, manufacturing plant, prototyping suppliers and • Tool RFQ Finalization Supplier and Customer Both.• VA/VE Proposal discussion to customer for Cost Saving • Project presentations for each project that meet the needs of project reviews. • Collaboration with suppliers for selection of materials and manufacturing processes (sheet metals, engineering plastics, graphics printing, etc.,) • Good Knowledge of IMDS System .• Represent the project team to end-user from development phase through production.• Good Knowledge on VDA 6.3 for German standard.
