The goal is foster the spread of the public building users behaviour change as well as to support the deployment of ICTs for energy efficiency among public building owners and operators.General outcomes:1. Systemic energy consumption and production and emissions reduction between 15% and 30%2. Accelerate wide deployment of innovative ICT solutions for energy efficiency3. Greater consumer understanding and engagement in energy efficiency*The total cost of TRIBE project amounts to 2 million euros.*TRIBE is a collaborative project financed by the European Union under the Horizon 2020 Framework Programme (H2020), being the EU contribution of 2,000,031.50 euros.*TRIBE was favourably evaluated under a call opened within the H2020 Framework Programme, topic EE-11-2014: “New ICT-based solutions for energy efficiency”*This EU financing is based on Grant Agreement no. 649770, signed between the project consortium and the European Commission.

Communication, Dissemination And Reporting ExecutiveBricker - Energy Reduction In Public Building Stock Oct 2013 - Sep 2018BRICKER aims to develop a retrofitting solution package for existing public-owned non-residential buildings in order to achieve a drastic reduction of the energy consumption (beyond 50%) and GHG emissions in this sector. This retrofitting package is based on:-Envelope retrofitting solutions for demand reduction through made-to-measure façades, innovative insulation materials and high performance windows.-Zero emissions energy production technologies based on a cogeneration system fed with locally available and clean renewable sources.-Integration and operation strategies´ development for the BRICKER Technologies and guidance for design, commissioning and maintenance. The retrofitting solution package will be implemented in three real demonstration multi-buildings complexes, located in different climate conditions in three different European Countries and with different end-uses: Sanitary, Educational and Administrative. To maximize impact and replicability of the project, technologies´ integration, guidance for implementation and technological transfer to Social Housing will be developed. Communication, Dissemination And Reporting ExecutiveNeed4B - New Energy Efficient Demonstration For Buildings Feb 2012 - Sep 2018Istanbul, TurkeyThe building sector is the highest energy consumer in the EU (about 40%) and main contributor to GHG emissions (about 36% of EU´s total CO2 emissions). In order to drastically reduce its energy consumption and associated GHG emissions, the European Directive 2010/31/UE establishes that all new-builds must reach near-zero energy consumption levels by year 2020.In this context, a strong effort is needed to adopt strong energy efficiency advances in the new construction projects, as well as associated process and business strategies that result into a large scale market deployment of energy efficient buildings.NEED4B involves key expertise to demonstrate the technical, social and economic feasibility of this challenge. The overall objective of the project is to develop an open and easily replicable methodology for designing, constructing, and operating new low energy buildings, aiming to a large market uptake. NEED4B methodology will be validated and refined by a strong demonstration programme, envisaging the construction of 27.000 m2, spread among five demo sites covering different climatic zones, buildings types and uses, what ensures replicability of the project results and guarantees their impact in the construction sector. The project incorporates a strong demonstration programme, envisaging the construction of 27.000 m2, spread among 5 demo sites, one of which is at the Özyeğin University campus. In the demo sites, the energy consumption is planned to be 65% less and the CO2 emission to be 90% less compared to regular practices.
