The European Medical Students´ Association – Association Européenne des Étudiants en Médecine (EMSA) is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation representing medical students from all across Europe. EMSA is active in over 30 countries with more than 130 FMOs and 50,000 members. Founded in 1990 in Brussels, it is the only voice of students within the European Medical Organisations. EMSA is recognised by the European Parliament, the European Commission, and the United Nations. The association provides a platform for high-level advocacy, projects, trainings, workshops and international meetings. Its activities gather around Medical Education, Medical Ethics and Human Rights, Health Policy, Public Health, Medical Science and European Integration and Culture.Medical Science Pillar's mission is to create a student platform which encompasses many key research principles and practical skills that are essential for every future healthcare professional, whilst raising appreciation of medical science. It also has the vision of a Europe that prospers in the field of medical science and where students are engaging actively in advancing healthcare through scientific research.

I am Local Coordinator of EcoEMSA (İzmir University of Economics Medical Faculty Europe Medical Students Association) I am in charge of many events for both improvements of medical students' knowledge and awareness-raising activities in the town we live in. I represent my faculty in both national meetings and International meetings with a voting right.
