Engineer with over 20 years’ experience with excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills. Experience in lead and design positions to include technical and personnel management, supervision and coordination within multi-disciplinary environments with track record of delivering high quality engineering solutions. Well experienced in FEED, detailed design, good knowledge of FEM, global structural analysis and field engineering on offshore fixed and floating structures, petrochemical facilities, bridge and railway building structures, working in international environments. Fully conversant in structural analysis for in-service and pre-service conditions using traditional methods as well as industry-standard engineering software SESAM, SACS, STAADPro and StruCAD, . Familiar with industry codes, standards, design guidelines, client specifications and scopes of work with reference to British, American, Australian, DNV, IVB, Norwegian and Russian codes, ISO design specifications, and client specifications and standards, including management of quality assurance of design documentation. Good knowledge of fabrication procedures and techniques. Well-accustomed to working within a multi-disciplinary environment. Experience in the production of all design documentation including preparation of design reports, design basis, philosophies, technical specifications, drawings, method statements and schedules. Further experience covers project engineering, marine systems, pre-commissioning and mechanical completion.
