I started my career of helping others at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Where I studied Human Development and Family Studies and Gerontology. My passion to work with people has always driven my academic studies and professional career interests. Throughout college I found my biggest motivator was serving others. It was my mission to improve the quality of life for people of marginalized populations. I was able to do that through my internship at the Senior Resources of Guilford by providing case management for their Meals on Wheels program. I also worked as a Community Organizer for our campus volunteer organization, where I fell in love with serving people with Autism. I currently serve as a member of Teach for America in Memphis as a Kindergarten Teacher. This is where I discovered my love for teaching reading. The greatest gift of them all is being able to read. As it opens the door to success.Children aren’t my only focus, I’m able to put my people skills to the test at Intra Logic, where I serve as an operations manager. My duties of overseeing and maintaining company culture are more than fulfilling. I enjoy building strong connections with company drivers and ensuring their employee satisfaction. Outside of my career I enjoy solo traveling. I love being able to create new experiences in new places. The world is an amazing place and I want to experience everything our beautiful planet has to offer.
