Where I started as a reconciler at March 2017, performed reconciliation between internal and external accounts.JOB Description:Static Data (DAG - Data Acquisition Group)1. Static work (Account set up, Amendment and Deletion)2. Clearing Missing balance3. Proposing Cash and Position feed validation for Reconciliation4. STIF Reversal and Manual Input5. Validating Operator Intervention6. Preparing stale Reports7. Escalating to the respective counterparties when there was an issue with recon applications, feed unavailability and custody feeds like MT940 and MT535.Cash and Position Reconciliation:1. Ensure feeds from both sides have been received to TLM/P(RKS vs Custody).2. Cash - Perform manual matching for outstanding exceptions after TLM performs auto matching. Proceeding the match based on the criteria, instructions and tolerance levels.3. Position - Initiate auto matching in TLM through STP workflow.4. Import all outstanding exceptions to PLM.5. Assigning the outstanding exceptions to the relevant team with proper explanation based on internal investigation application. 6. Prepare the exception & balance reports and deliver the same to Client and support teams.7. Process the write offs on weekly and monthly basis to ensure the internal and external balances are equal. 8. Processing security linking in TLM based on the securities and their market lines. the securities are CUSIP, Sedol and ISIN. Using MCH, Bloomberg and IDS apps to find the securities.9. Identifying new auto matching & coding rules and implement the project through the TLP and PLM IT supports.10. Escalating aged breaks to relevant functional teams and their Oversights to clear on timely manner.11. Preparing MIS report and report it to higher management.Market Value Reconciliation:* Preparing total market value recon on a monthly basis, purpose to compare the quantity, price and market value between IM & EM.People Management:1. Managed 15+ resources on a multiple daily SLA's by ensuring all the activities are completed.2. Implement and execute the control measure to reduce the human errors and SLA misses (>99%)3. Additional Responsibilities are: Reporting daily SLA status senior management, completing the adhoc and MIC activities.4. Reducing manual work by adopting new technologies and engage with tech teams, goal settings, skill & career development. handling escalations and managing leaves.
