A qualified international development professional with project management experience in development and emergency settings within the NGO sector in South Asia for more than a decade. Proven expertise in managing and coordinating projects on education, livelihoods, protection and peace-building for a range of development and protection agencies dedicated to advocating for and supporting vulnerable groups to access and realize their rights as guaranteed under respective international and national laws. Major achievements included: Developed and managed Child Protection and Development Program - to establish community based child protection system in 25 districts, Nepal in partnership with Ministry of Women Children and Social Welfare. Contributed as a member to establish Children Affected by Conflict Working Group (CAC WG) in Nepal to coordinate Nepal Child Soldiers Reintegration Project that reintegrated more than 10,000 Children Associated with Armed Forces and Armed Groups in their communities. Strengthened the capacity of 80 E & D staff and partners’ staff on Project Cycle Management, child protection, governance and accountability and introduced structured project management system (log frame, DME) into one partner organisation resulting in improved project management and monitoring system. Initiated formal partnership with two colleges (Social Work) by signing a memorandum of Understanding to establish a regular way of evaluation of ongoing project from an academic eye.
