Select Sprinklers is a contracting company that's services include commercial and residential irrigation, lighting, snow removal, and concrete flatwork and repair for large gas providers and construction companies.Working under the General Manager and Owner of Select Sprinklers, my role spans a wide range of duties that has produced increasing growth year after year. As a Sales and Marketing Manager at Select Sprinklers, my duties are as follows:Marketing Management- develop effective marketing strategy on small business budget - in-charge of website improvements, copywriting, upgrades, strategy- building and maintaining online ad campaigns through Facebook, Google Ads, Instagram- manage company wide branding from flyers, to clothing, to vehicle fleet decal and design, and online presence- using adobe suite to create marketing materials (newsletters, flyers, door hangers)- using Constant Contacts to manage email marketing campaigns, and update customer list with discounts and promos. Sales:- head of residential estimating and sales- manage customers through purchase process and project completion- face-to-face sales with prospective customers- responsible for customer satisfaction on all residential projectsProject Management- Team scheduling and project scheduling- Responsible for estimating and costing out projects ranging from $5,000 - $500,000- Lead projects on and off sites and be directly responsible for overall performance- Be in contact with customers, construction project coordinators, and managers throughout build process of larger scope projects.

Responsible for executing remote broadcasts for on location events, communicating the brand to radio station followers, and creating positive experiences for clients and customers. Other job aspects include social media management, team leadership, and keeping an enthusiastic and upbeat attitude.Working for JRFM and The PEAK radio station have allowed me to grow my knowledge and skills of communication, marketing, and social media. Starting on the street team, my responsibilities have grown into leading a team of employees during "on location" broadcasts at client's events. Working in promotions has also given me the opportunity to volunteer at non-profit affiliates such as Basics For Babies.

I was lucky enough to get an internship during my BCIT Marketing Communications program with the Whitecaps FC. I had always had an interest for pursing a career in sports marketing. Having a passion for sports, made this such a special experience. Working at the head office in Vancouver, I was able to gain experience in the sports marketing world. My duties included building research reports for prospective marketing ventures by the club, contacting local cities for a branded street banner campaign, as well as contributing further to the marketing department.I was able to run the Pub Partners program handling ordering, shipping, and budget for all pub partner marketing materials. This also included managing design for creative and working hand in hand with the on-staff designers. In addition to Pub Partners, I was able to help generate leads for the sales team, and learn from the marketing coordinator and senior manager, from social media, to in-stadium promotions and in-game events, to sponsorship marketing.

Team work, communication, and urgency are all part of a chefs life at Earls. Working quickly and efficiently as a team are the keys to success. My responsibilities included team management, overseeing products made, and cooking in a range of stations. Being able to provide guests with great food, and a great experience was something I always took pride in.
