I am currently employed with Tampa Electric Company as a Safety Professional overseeing solar and battery construction projects.Previously I was with The State of South Carolina’s Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation’s Occupational Health and Safety Administration (SC OSHA). I conducted health and safety consultations for both public and private entities.Preceding SC OSHA, I was with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) at the Fish and Wildlife Research Institute as the Safety Program Manager. I maintained and managed boating safety, environmental health, and general industry safety programs.Prior to joining FWC, I was employed with Beall's INC as a Safety Supervisor for the company's distribution centers. I conducted risk assessments and worked to mitigate hazards. I also administered worker's compensation claims.My graduate education was completed at Florida International University, where I obtained a Masters in Public Health concentrating in Environmental and Occupational Health. My undergraduate education was completed at The University of South Florida, where I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Public Health with a Minor in Environmental Health.I interned at the Florida Department of Health in Manatee County in the Environmental Health Division.
