Head Sports Coordinator
CurrentI facilitate the daily running of the schools sport and physical education. I manage a work force that includes 6 other coaches and teachers.Duties:• Physical education for grades R - 7• Managing a work force • Teaching and coaching various sports such as cricket, soccer, swimming, volley ball, netball, hockey and athletics• Host events such as cricket trials, sports matches and swimming galas• Physical education• Arrange weekly and yearly fixtures • Assist with extra curriculum activities such as concerts and parents meeting• Co-ordinate and plan local and provincial sports events• Coordinating multiple matches • Give weekly feedback to principal and deputy principal• Give feedback to parents upon request• Record students’ progress• Manage health and safety • Manage and attend to first aid• Team meetings with coaches • Motivate and mange my team• Maintenance of fields and grounds • Buy and manage equipment for various sports events • Team building • Recruitment and employment of coaches• Planning and setting assessments and marking rubric • Sports marketing • Interaction and motivation of students
