I was born in the great state of Michigan, went to school in East Lansing (Michigan State University). I'm a lifelong baseball fan in an Old English D hat, a reader, a pretty bad golfer, a stand-up comedy snob, and a dedicated husband, father, friend, and writer. I work as a communications writer as part of a small, but highly dedicated team at the San Diego Housing Commission. My job involves showcasing the agency's work in the areas of affordable housing, rental assistance, and homelessness solutions across a variety of platforms. Each day is a new adventure at SDHC and I look forward to sharing what we're doing with you. I'm also a newsman at heart. I've covered business beats at daily papers in Michigan and North Carolina and also spent time as a digital news producer at a San Diego TV station. Our communities are enriched in many numerous ways when they are properly informed. Please consider supporting the work of your local newspaper. It's essential. My family and I live in Chula Vista, a vibrant city in San Diego's South Bay region. Need to contact me? Send me an email: dillonwesleydavis@gmail.com.
