This role's main objective was managing the focal point of the customer's experience. • Daily responsibilities included: watching over the self-checkout areas, cash registers, and customer service desk. Determining the most efficient breaks and lunches for cashiers, preparing tills for the registers every morning and turning in the tills at night, as well as ensuring each register had efficient amounts of change throughout the day. • Handled all-cash office duties such as monitoring the cash recyclers usage and ensuring that any money taken out was properly recorded and accounted for, counting and collecting the daily deposits, including checks and coupons. • As the face of the customer service experience, it was my job to handle any customer's complaints as well as compliments to make sure that any issues were addressed and resolved and any positives given to management so they can reward the team.
