Curating, editing and writing blogs and content for web sites and newsletters.

I lead a group of 40+ staff and volunteers in creating our student newspaper, The Sputnik. My responsibilities include holding weekly meetings, and creating a positive work environment that stimulates creativity and unity. I lead a group tasked with redesigning our website, and make sure that content is filled both online and in the paper on a timely, consistent basis.

I do mass bibliographies for Scholarly Journal articles for professors. I research current events to help form class structure and topics.

I am currently designing and conducting ten live blogs with journalists across Canada about interesting issues facing journalists.

MY responsibilities include driving a CAT D9 Dozer, pushing wood chips. I also was a field operator, in charge of keeping lines moving, cleaning lines, clearing conveyors, and changing knives and equipment. I worked with a team where everyone is accountable to each other in order for the mill to run smoothly.

My responsibilities include assigning writer's stories for my section each issue. I also submit a story myself. I supervise the writing process, reviewing and editing their work, and am available to guide them and bounce story ideas off of each other. I also take some photos, and have previously been the Features editor and written for sports and news.
