I manage the production and manufacturing operations, as well as the new product development at Medterials, Inc. I have 7 years of experience in taking pharmaceutical and medical device products from initial concept R&D stage to pre-clinical production scale. For each project I work hands on in the lab and manufacturing floor to develop a robust and scalable manufacturing process. I also have 3 years of experience in project management, working with CMO's to transfer the manufacturing process to clinical and commercial scale. An integral part of my approach through early development to full scale manufacturing is data analysis. I have 3 years of experience in programming in Python with an emphasis in machine learning and data visualization. I believe this is a crucial skill for optimizing work flows and maximizing the efficiency of not only my work, but the larger project as whole.I also have 4 years of previous experience developing and validating analytical assays in order to comply with ISO 13485 and GMP requirements, using various techniques including GC, HPLC, GPC/SEC, LOD, DSC, rheology, and titration assays.
