There are two constants in my life: my love for wildlife, and leading a busy life. During high school, I was involved in sports (baseball and soccer), Boy Scouts, Civil Air Patrol, Air Force JROTC, and volunteering at the local zoo (Como Zoo and Conservatory in St. Paul, MN). Nothing changed even after I left home to join the United States Marine Corps, where I served as an Air Traffic Controller, receiving 5 certifications and 1 supervisory designation, all of which received On The Job Training (OJTI) designations, allowing me to train other marines. On top of my service obligations, I volunteered at the South Carolina Aquarium and Low Country Exotics. After my time in the Marine Corps, I moved to Florida to pursue higher education at Santa Fe College (SF) where I received my AAS, Zoology, and am currently enrolled in classes at the University of Florida (UF) for Wildlife Ecology and Conservation. I am currently conducting ecological research with the Santa Fe River Turtle Project and served as the Vice President of the Animal Education Club at SF.
