About Dillon Orr

Dillon Orr, a queer Franco-Ontarian director, is the interim Artistic Director of Créations In Vivo in Ottawa. His work is characterized by a focus on satire, bouffon, and popular revolution, offering a grassroots perspective deeply rooted in Franco-Ontarian reality. Originally from the Detroit River Region, Dillon graduated from the University of Ottawa (2012) and the National Theatre School of Canada (2019). His innovative approach has been recognized on several occasions, including the prestigious Pauline-McGibbon Award from the Ontario Arts Council in 2021.
