If I were to be a cleaning utensil I would have to align myself towards a sponge with an abrasive pad on the back. I am enthusiastic to soak up new information and am ready to undertake difficult tasks. Understanding how objects are made and function from computer hardware to heavy machinery has always been an interest of mine. Throughout my career and classes, I have had the opportunity to get a grasp on how many technologies operate. To say I have reached the tip of the iceberg would be an overstatement. In my life, I aim to understand the world around me. Graduating high school in 2021 embarked me on a path to set out this goal of knowledge. Two weeks after graduation I started working in a large vehicle wash company that deals with many facets of construction from plumbing to automation. Throughout my position at this company, I continued to pursue an associate's degree in information technology specifying in programming. Both of these ventures I still pursue today and am projected to finish my degree in the spring of 2023.“Variety is the spice of life” is a statement one of my co-workers told me years ago. I agree with this proclamation as I try to dip my toes into every aspect life has to offer. Talking with strangers I meet and hearing their stories makes reality much more interesting. Learning facts about city planning or taking on a new language. Listening and the comprehension behind that is a value I pursue to diversify my education.
