I am a dedicated global security and international relations professional with 5 years of GSOC experience and 7 total years of professional experience. I have a master’s from UNC Chapel Hill's TransAtlantic Master's Program (TAM), where I studied transatlantic relations and European government/policy. TAM allowed me to study in Madrid, Lisbon, and Bath, where I deepened my knowledge of E.U. structure and projection, the transformation of democracy, international terrorism, memory politics, Russian politics, international security theories, and Portuguese.I received my batchelor’s degree in Hispanic studies with a minor in Portuguese from the University of Tennessee. My courses focused on the policy, history, and literature of the Spanish and Portuguese speaking worlds in the relevant languages.Outside of academia, I have been involved in community outreach and education. I am passionate about equality and community and am a leadership team member of the Boeing Employees Pride Alliance at our Mesa site.
