Biomedical engineer with a focus on peptide and protein science.Over the last 5 years I have immersed myself in the peptide/protein engineering space and gained experience in numerous techniques that range from peptide synthesis, bacterial protein expression in E. coli hosts, and molecular biology. I have expressed, purified, and characterized 25 different fusion proteins and enzymes that range from structural proteins (GFP, galectins) to active enzymes (cutinases, luciferases, ATPases, glycotransferases, chondrotinases).
