Great Service Representative
CurrentI basically ran the show when I was there. I memorized the menu and stories behind the idea. I never tried so hard for a job than I did for this one. This place was special and I was cared for and that’s why I gave it my all. I was a GSR(Great Service Representative) that meant it was my job to provide exceptional customer service and that’s what I did because before opening we had charity nights for our first responders and military. It was then that I received my great service award. It was an honor to be recognized for just simply doing the right thing and being kind. After that I received employee of the month in June 2024. If I hadn’t left for college I would’ve became a line cook and manager. They put me everywhere I would start at register, then be moved to expediter where I would organize the food and deliver it to the customer, if the were a first timer then we would give them a free sandwich card for their next visit and a cookie. Then I was always a closing shift so it started by dividing the tasks up and doing them until we initialed each task. But that plan took forever and never worked, so I took it into my own hands to do all the big tasks and let my fellow GSRs do the smaller ones and that way we can close fastest. I would do the Crathco machines which were lemonade and iced tea machines, then I would hand wash them until they were spotless. Then I’d assemble it back and label it, once everyone was out of the dining room I would put up the chairs and sweep the entire floor, then mop, and do the soda machine nozzles. I was friends with all my coworkers, and loved being apart of such a great group and company and meeting all the incredible people along my journey. I still work there occasionally and may transfer to the one down here.
