Co-lead planning for our 4th annual UW campus visit. Help facilitate UW facility/room reservations, recruit UW students as tour leaders in interest areas of Aki students, help plan activities for our group on campus, and help recruit family participation.Assist Communities in Schools at Aki Kurose. CIS supports the needs of students to help them come to school ready to learn.Attend evening series of Family Engagement events at Aki Kurose. Approximately monthly, our school hosts an evening event to welcome families into the school to build relationships with staff and learn details of current school initiatives, and students’ goals and achievements. Attend and assist with sign-in table, answering questions, set-up and clean-up.
