• Meet with clients to research and understand requirements for solutions centeredaround Microsoft security technologies.• Work with the sales team, internal and external partners and prospects to understand the prospect’s business and technical needs.• Design and document high level solutions that align the prospect’s needs.• Develop “level of effort” estimates (“LOE”) with product pricing that approximate the costof the solution.• When required, audit the prospect’s existing technology infrastructure, security postureand governance procedures to understand the prospect’s current state.• Describe solution recommendations and proposal to prospects (with the salesteam).• Prepare presentations and demonstrations for prospects to help them understand theproposed solution, the estimated cost of the solution, and the solution’s value relative tothe prospect’s needs.• Deliver subject matter expertise of Microsoft Security and data governance products.• Assist in the development of Statements of Work (SOWs) that include a description of theproject scope, assumptions, pricing, customer responsibilities and other terms of theproposed solution.• Collaborate with Managed Services and Professional Services teams to shareinformation learned during the sales process in the onboarding stage of an engagement.• As needed, perform specific presales workshops including Sentinel Proof of Valueengagements and other early-stage workshops.• Continuously update skills and knowledge to keep up with the changing landscape andcustomer needs.• Provide subject matter expertise, strategic advice, senior level guidance and operationalsupport.• Engage in sales enablement activities with key partners and the internal sales team.• Consult with the business development team to align offerings withpartner programs and funding.• Work with product team innovate new product and service capabilities.
