Key Responsibilities:Leadership and Management:Lead, mentor, and manage the Sales Engineering team to ensure they are equipped to support sales efforts effectively.Develop and implement strategies to optimize pre-sales processes and improve the overall efficiency of the sales cycle.Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.Pre-Sales Activities:Work closely with the Sales team to understand client needs and develop tailored solutions leveraging Microsoft technologies.Oversee the creation of compelling presentations, proposals, and demonstrations to articulate the value proposition of our solutions.Ensure technical accuracy and feasibility of proposed solutions.

• Meet with clients to research and understand requirements for solutions centeredaround Microsoft security technologies.• Work with the sales team, internal and external partners and prospects to understand the prospect’s business and technical needs.• Design and document high level solutions that align the prospect’s needs.• Develop “level of effort” estimates (“LOE”) with product pricing that approximate the costof the solution.• When required, audit the prospect’s existing technology infrastructure, security postureand governance procedures to understand the prospect’s current state.• Describe solution recommendations and proposal to prospects (with the salesteam).• Prepare presentations and demonstrations for prospects to help them understand theproposed solution, the estimated cost of the solution, and the solution’s value relative tothe prospect’s needs.• Deliver subject matter expertise of Microsoft Security and data governance products.• Assist in the development of Statements of Work (SOWs) that include a description of theproject scope, assumptions, pricing, customer responsibilities and other terms of theproposed solution.• Collaborate with Managed Services and Professional Services teams to shareinformation learned during the sales process in the onboarding stage of an engagement.• As needed, perform specific presales workshops including Sentinel Proof of Valueengagements and other early-stage workshops.• Continuously update skills and knowledge to keep up with the changing landscape andcustomer needs.• Provide subject matter expertise, strategic advice, senior level guidance and operationalsupport.• Engage in sales enablement activities with key partners and the internal sales team.• Consult with the business development team to align offerings withpartner programs and funding.• Work with product team innovate new product and service capabilities.

As the Senior Systems Engineer on the team I lead a group of six engineers as we manage over forty different networks. Each of our clients use a mix of VMware and Windows for servers and Cisco or Dell on the Networking side. The main reason in which I was brought in for to be on this team was my Exchange experience. During these four months I have been able to utilize my Powershell knowledge along with my Automation knowledge to influence the team immensely.

As a support technician in the U.S. Coast Guard I helped support all assets including 80,000 end users. I also provided additional support in troubleshooting all aspects of the Coast Guards Information Systems. I was promoted to Lead Petty Officer in which I oversee and escalate any incidents involving the Information Systems. Also during this time I assisted in standing up our ITSM Service Desk. A Key project I worked on was Virtualizing the Entire Coast Guard Fleet of Servers utilizing Hyper-V. Throughout my tenure at the Coast Guard Station Milwaukee, I not only gained experience in standing watch and boarding but also gained knowledge in customer service as well as team building skills.
