HIGHLIGHTS:-I saved over $300,000 annually (in my 1st year) from sourcing some of our parts that I saw were too expensive from better vendors (self initiated),-became an expert at designing for manufacturability- for both machinability and efficient assembly-I came up with a completely different style of assembly instructions that were image-based created in Solidworks with exploded views and very few words, and they were laminated so people could work on top of them. They Saved 20-30% time on average for experienced assembly techs, and ~80% faster for new people on a product line. Was near impossible for the tech to miss an important detail.They were showcased at the Annual Company Kickoff as 2013’s mission statement—“First Things First.” Company’s internal clean-up initiative. -Improved assembly processes via process layout, process design, and design of assembly tooling and fixtures—some processes as much as 80-90% time reduction.-Created several 3D printed fixtures/jigs for assembly to help with the difficult parts & high-volume processes. One fixture on a really tedious part cut the assembly time in half from 60 minutes to under 30.-half of the diaphragms on our pressure switch (highest volume part) were deemed "faulty" during testing and they were being thrown out and new diaphragms were being put in. I said "that's not right," and confirmed they were in tolerance, so I pulled out the O-ring handbook and found a design flaw on our metal housing. I fixed it, and we had 100% pass rate after that. Also revamped the QA fixtures to do multiples. This increased our assembly/QA-testing throughput by >6x! -Well versed in a broad range of manufacturing processes: especially machined aluminum, steel, & nylon; metal-finishing processes; sheet metal fabrication; injection molding.-Designed a really cool part for SpaceX -it combined over 7 of our parts plus fittings into a sleek design that took up less space than the parts by themselves.

-Conducted entire team of 107-118 kids, ages 5-18-Effectively managed 3 assistant coaches to work smoothly together with the team-Established and maintained great communication with parents and board members-Ran organized effective practices, meets, and stroke clinics
