About Dillon Taylor
Purpose: To inspire people to succeed, drive an environment of growth and mutual benefit, and connect it to an organization's vision.Accomplishments:For over twenty years I have had the honor and privilege to work with amazing people on difficult problems. My passion for serving started when I was 17 and I sought out my Marine Corps recruiter. I had seven successful deployments overseas growing at each stage of my military career. I served as an operations manager spending a year traveling to 7 countries focused on being prepared for crisis response. I later graduated from Marine Special Operations Course and was assigned as a Senior Manager Marine Special Operations. Directing a team of 21 highly specialized individuals, I leveraged each person's strengths to maximize their outstanding abilities on two deployments to Afghanistan. As my career grew I took on two executive roles as Senior Operations Manager and later Senior Human Resources Manager. I embraced my role as a senior teacher and mentor, focusing on the development of my teammates and preparing our nations youth to protect our freedoms. After leaving active duty for my family, I found myself with a great opportunity to grow at Snow King Mountain. I welcomed the change and found passion in helping the employees of the mountain while keeping our guests safe. I subsequently retired from the Marine Corps Reserves in 2018.Following that I was recruited by Figure Technologies to work on the people operations team out of Bozeman, MT. The company was growing rapidly and I took on a role that looked at strategic expansion of locations, training strategy, and business continuity planning. Following the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic the company was no longer growing and I was subsequently laid off in early 2020.After a short break from working, I was drawn to a position at Sitka Gear working in an operations role managing a portfolio of projects that included technology integration and updates and driving the Go to Market process for new products. While at Sitka I was recruited by former employees I had worked with at Figure Technologies to a senior operations manager role in a new tech family office firm in the crypto industry. HQ Digital has since been dissolved due to the market impacts in crypto. Throughout my career, I have recognized that in order for any team to be successful the leader must care for and empower team members, leverage their talents, and find opportunities for their individual development.
