Scout camp is a seasonal employment opportunity that allows for young men to interact and help serve the youth scouts and adult leaders that attend the H. Roe Bartle Scout Reservation.As a counselor, I helped guide, develop, and manage a team of three various youth staff members over the course of three summers. The Instructors taught Scouts, and I invested time in the Instructors. When Scouts asked what subject or badge I taught, I always joked, "Everything!"Officially, I was leader of the Scoutcraft program area that helped serve youth by offering five different merit badges and a first-year camper class. I provided leadership in various places across camp, but primarily to the Scoutcraft program. As counselor, I was also responsible for remotely entering, updating, and maintaining instructor records in the merit badge database. I have experience keeping an inventory and following equipment requisition processes.Scoutcraft specializes in bushcraft, ropework, survival, and other essential Scouting skills.The H. As a field service intern, it was my focus to shadow and learn from District Directors, Executives, and other Council professionals as to how the BSA's local council operates on a day-today basis. It was my job to be a part of the team and assist in field work (fundraising, volunteer meetings, promotional events, and more).

During the summers of 2015 and 2016 at the H. Roe Bartle Scout Reservation, I worked as an instructor to the students at our lodge.
