We were tasked with developing alternatives for Plant City's Water Reclamation Facility to remain operable from now until 2036 while handling the increased septage loads due to the ban of land application of septage in Florida.To do this we determined the service area and then approximated the projected septage volumes. Once the volumes were found we analyzed onsite and offsite methods for the treatment of septage and evaluated these methods using an EIO-LCA as well as a 20 year cost estimate. We developed construction plans using Auto Cad as well as an onsite operation and management plan for ease of implementation if the onsite alternative was chosen.
