I am a Mechanical Engineering Undergraduate from Singapore Institute of Technology.Before my studies at SIT, I undertook a full-time contract as an Associate Engineer for 6 months with ASMPT, a semiconductor manufacturing Multi-National Corporation (MNC). My job scope mainly comprises executing operational checks of placement products, ensuring that each machine manufactured is to be at its utmost operating state.Carrying the skills that I have learned from the MNC over to my degree program, I come to understand the significance of problem-solving, and learning how to think out of the box; away from the conventional methods, to work towards a certain goal. Also, utilising efficient team management and good communication skills, the significance of having a cohesive team would encompass exemplary results, when people can top-up where others lack in.Apart from these, I yearn to be an aspiring R&D Design Engineer, focusing on making everyday life much easier, not only for those who can afford it but for the general communities all around from all walks of life.
