About Dillon R. De Silva
A self taught Photographer capturing the magic of ordinary scenery. Being a Photography enthusiast from a young age, I started my journey in the field when I was 14 as a Photographer at the Trinity College Media Unit, after improving my skills over the course of four years, I kicked off my professional career as a Videography/Editing Intern at Siyak Seenu - Sri Lankan Wedding Videographers while doing freelance photography. Following my tenure at SiyakSeenu, I have been doing Videography and Video Editing as a freelancer for some of the best creators in Sri Lanka, such as The Aisle Films, Tai Hsin Shiek Photography etc.Although videography is a valuable asset to me, Photography remains my main profession as I start working for Flipside Imaging as a photographer, while doing freelance photography for amazing photographers around the country, including Ushan Gunasekara Photography, Tai Hsin Shiek Photography, RM Photography and more. During my non existent free time, I have worked as a Photo retoucher and Album Designer for photographers like Dylan Seedin Photography, Tai Photography and Geeshan Bandara Photography, who are some of the best talents in Sri Lanka. I have also been doing my own photography projects and events under my brand "DR Photography / Dillon R de Silva Photography".Skilled in the fields of Photography, Videography, and editing photos/videos using the Adobe creative suite. Also skilled at creating beautiful art using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.

Working as the Creative Producer of the Marketing division at Fentons, I handled all the photography and videography requirements during my tenure, as well as the respective editing of both. In addition to that, I was working as a video editor for all the videos that were made during my tenure, as well as all the 2D animations and motion graphics which was a great learning experience and expanded my knowledge by quite a big margin. Furthermore, I was partly assisting the design team with some of their Graphic Design work whenever a requirement came up, as well as turning pre-made designs into motion graphics for Social Media, Television Broadcasting and more.
