I grew up in a small town and knew from a young age that I loved interacting with people, especially from places different than my own.Because of this I took a career class in the last 2 years of high school to learn about education and how we as humans develop starting from childhood.After high school I went to college and took classes focusing on education and how to better interact with people of all ages. I had the experience of working at a call center with over 200 different accounts and I put my all into making sure my customers were happy. I love interacting with people and even if someone is from a different country or different from myself, I want to make them feel welcome.I really got the chance to use my education as an English Teacher online. I had an amazing time teaching and helping my adult students on Cambly and teaching kids on Qkids. I really loved the aspect of seeing my students grow no matter what country they were from. I excelled in tailoring curriculums for each student and making sure they were satisfied and happy no matter if they were a child or a business professional. My relationships with my students drove me to excel and learn how to make them happy every single time we met. For the past few years, I have been in a different industry (physical labor, warehousing, production) to help make ends meet as some of my previous positions unfortunately were not able to accommodate my living expenses even though I really enjoyed what I did. I also have aspirations to eventually get a bachelor's in psychology or special education as I am extremely interested in mental health and the well-being of others as well as my own.Currently I am looking to utilize my skills and grow with Acceptional Minds in my current role.
