Like Hootsuite or Sprout Social, my app Social Slingshot allowed users to publish to multiple social media platforms. What made it unique was the ability to group content into categories (such as style, subject, product, sale, voice, tone anything you wanted to categorize). This feature allowed marketers to collect engagement data from their messaging (similar to PPC ads dashboard) and evaluate what message worked best to drive traffic & sales!I added agency services in 2017. This created a DIY (SAAS) and DIFY (agency) model. I was early to adopt this dual (DIY/DIFY) approach which was very appealing to business owners.The decision to sunset the app was made at the end of 2019 due to expensive maintenance (bugs) and frequent compliance issues.I continued to run Social Slingshot as a lean agency (only DIFY services) from 2019-2022. At the end of 2022 an exciting oppurtunity to build Vidiosa Animation Studios and work directly with GoHighLevel was presented to me and I took it. This led to a halt of all operations with Social Slingshot.
