During my year of service, I redesigned the medical training system for ORNS personnel, and was key to developing systemic linkages between the Navy Medical Service and the various flotillas, to optimize the use of naval platforms for training and operational medical support requirements. Other notable achievements include:• Course Commander for the 119th and 120th Underwater Medic Course• Course Coordinator for the Naval and Undersea Medical Officer Course• Coordinating Staff Officer for multiple In-Camp Trainings involving over 150 medically trained ORNS personnel, in a post-COVID era• Medical support for ongoing nationwide COVID-19 screening and vaccination efforts• Lead Author for the Medical Flotilla Training Manual - a onestop resource for medical training for all ORNS medical personnel in RSN
Interprofessional and intergenerational project aimed at linking student volunteers with at risk elderly, augmenting the hospital to home programme with FMCC SGH to reduce readmission rates and improve quality of life among elderly patients around SGH.
