I obtained my master's degree in Neuroscience from Dokuz Eylül University in 2023. My research focused on thought disorders in schizophrenia patients and the emotional expression levels of caregivers, culminating in a thesis. During this period, I administered neuropsychological tests to both patients and caregivers to enhance our understanding of these aspects.In my pursuit of academic excellence, I engaged in postgraduate studies at Ruhr University Bochum, where I collaborated with the Onur Güntürkün Lab. Here, I delved into the behavioral paradigms of pigeons, employing immunohistochemical techniques and EEG methodologies.During my internship at Ruhr University, I also honed my German language skills and acquired fundamental knowledge of MATLAB.My undergraduate journey in Psychology involved diverse internships, including placements at child psychiatry clinics, adult psychiatry clinics, and alcohol and addiction centers. In 2020, I conducted observational research as an intern on patient interactions, rehabilitation procedures, and the administration of neuropsychological tests at the Öget Öktem Tanör Neuropsychology Lab.With an unwavering commitment to academic progression and contribution to the field, I actively stay abreast of contemporary developments in neuroscience. I am currently exploring opportunities for PhD opportunities in Neuroscience or Psychology, aiming to further cultivate my expertise and make meaningful contributions to the discipline.
