I am a hands-on software developer and a tech entrepreneur. I started to code right after my graduation in 2003, and after a few years of working as a software developer, I founded my first venture in Kyiv, Ukraine. The Russian invasion in 2014 destroyed the Ukrainian economy and ruined my venture. Therefore I decided to move to Berlin and start everything over - first, as a backend developer, then as an IT manager, and now I'm enjoying entrepreneurship again.I am a techno-optimist and genuinely believe technologies make our life better. All technologies are done by people, and the best technologies are done by mission-driven and empowered teams. Therefore, I see my job foremost in creating motivated, empowered teams of missionaries, not mercenaries. My secret sauce in archiving this - fostering a generative culture. Effective communication, experimentation, the high pace of delivery, DevOps culture, embedding customer feedback, diversity, and lean management - are the keys to success.
