Current· Hands-on experience on Cisco routers ASR9912 and ASR9K IOS XR · Announcing local ipv4/ipv6 Subnets to internet using BGPv4/v6· Configuring all Lebanese service providers (ISPs) and enterprises connections and announcing their subnets to internet using:policy maps, point to point WAN connections, vlans, ipv4/ipv6 subnets assignment, access-lists, static routing or BGP routing using V4/V6 neighborship, prefix-lists, as-path lists, route-policies in/out and route-reflectors· Establishing and configuring connections with international providers to announce clients subnets and receive internet Table using BGP· Providing support for ISPs and enterprises:Capacity upgrade, downgrade, troubleshooting and solving issues related to configuration, connectivity, Packet loss, latency, BGP announcements, manipulating ipv6/ipv4 upstream and downstream traffic paths.· Intervening during any sudden traffic outage on international connections to troubleshoot and determine root causes of the problem, load balance upload/download traffic and open tickets to follow up with the proper team till the issue is resolved (fiber Team, transmission team, submarine cabling Team or upstream provider team). Dispatching engineer on site if needed.· Preparing and implementing plans for Load balancing and manipulating upload and download international ipv4/ipv6 traffic using BGP attributes during scheduled maintenances occurring on submarine cables or upstream providers’ networks. Rolling back policies after the maintenance is completed.· Facebook Cache configuration and monitoring.· Arbor DDOS system configuration (on CLI and GUI) and tuning.. Migration from ASR9K to ASR9912 gateways. · Migration of ISPs/enterprises to MPLS Network.. Monitoring errors, alarms, logs for gateways, international, MPLS, ISPs, corporates, Facebook caches and Arbor DDOS connections using CLI and monitoring system PRTG and implementing fixes. · Installing and operating new international gateways.
