Buddy.ai is developing a voice-based virtual tutor to help every child on the planet speak English as a second language. To achieve this goal, I am drawing upon 15 years of expertise in product design and management for companies like Cubic.ai, Finolog, and Megaplan.Though my roles differed, my task has always been the same: to build the right team and bring the concept to life. My specialty for the last decade has been voice-based products. At my previous position as a VP of Product for Cubic.ai, I applied Natural Language Understanding technology to the Smart Home field and built a digital butler – a voice-first assistant to control smart home devices. Before Cubic I led the design and development of B2B software products for Finolog and Megaplan. Was it finance (Finolog) or CRM (Megaplan) I always focused the team to build the best possible experience for customers. My work at Buddy.ai has been the most exciting and challenging of my career. By creating the first speech-based virtual tutor, we hope to offer children everywhere an affordable, personalized way to learn English. This mission is very personal to me as my two children are among the 500 million kids around the world learning to speak English as a second language.
