Perform calculations and virtual simulations in order to design, optimize, analyze and/or explain the behavior of vehicle dynamics under certain concern conditions, meeting some technical predetermined commitments like handling, comfort, packaging and feasibility. Define statics and dynamics loads acting on the vehicle suspension and engine mounts, in orders to these could be structurally designed. Perform the entire procedure of calculation to define the dynamic performance of vehicle suspension and mounts engine suspension, controlling their vibrational behavior, modal characteristics, kinematics and quasi-static conditions. Reconciling these activities with the Department of Experimentation, in order to deal and correlate the experimental acquisitions with the calculation results.

Support area of Certification and Processes elaborating procedures, standards and flows. Support the Planning and Normalization Department finding technical solutions, best practices and inspections plans to attend the reconditioning manufactory of Caterpillar heavy products.

Follow experimental procedures, evaluating metrological and statistical data, and contribute in their subsequent analysis and interpretation. Such research was conducted in the department of mechanical engineering of PUC/MG along with other research institutions such as Technological Center Foundation of Minas Gerais CETEC/MG, Center of Nuclear Development Technology CDTN, Federal University of Minas Gerais UFMG.
