Hello there, I'm Dimitris and I'm a Chemical Engineer, PhD, with solid research and management experience in the fields of health and environmental risk assessment, renewable energy, participatory science and investigations of societal dynamics. I'm currently a Senior Project Manager at White Research SRL, working at the frontiers of international research and innovation. I hold strong experience in the acquisition and implementation of European funding programmes, having effectively coordinated key activities in numerous joint research ventures over the past 10 years. Throughout this journey, I have implemented and managed several large-scale EU projects, in collaboration with world-class institutional and private actors and have also been active in the provision of consulting services. In this frame, I have assumed key research and managerial roles including the role of the Project Coordinator of international consortia, Quality Manager as well as Dissemination and Communication Manager. My project portfolio includes work in scientific areas spanning from environmental health, climate, renewable energy, smart cities and mobility to bioeconomy, sustainability and circular economy.
