• Reporting and analysis: Analyzing and controlling business processes and report to the management (software implementation programs, initiating improvement processes and maintaining control of implementation). • Management reporting and performance measurement: Preparing management reports and KPIs in order to inform management on the financial performance and the deviations between estimates and actuals (based on the analysis of financial data). • Managing the accounting operations: A/R, A/P, GL Revenue Recognition.• Financial reporting: Preparing the quarterly and yearly financial reports (income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements).• Audit Liaison: Communicating and coordinating with auditors during the quarterely and yearly audit of financial statements.• Internal controls: Creating and monitoring company’s policies and internal controls. • Reviewing and producing voyage results. • Recording revenues (time charters, freights, demurrages, dispatches and pool revenues).• Recording and monitoring inventories, port expenses and all related voyage expenses.• Reconciliation of Bank accounts, intercompany balances, trade payables, trade receivables and cash flow control.• Monitoring of Master General Account (MGA). • Following up insurance claim expenses.• Assisting CFO in preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements and in year-end closing procedures.

• Generate financial statements and facilitate monthly account closing procedures.• Posting general ledger entries and monitoring all payable balances. • Following up manning agents’ disbursements and balances.• Ensure compliance with requirements related to the maintenance of all documentation for the Tax and Governmental authorities in accordance with the provisions of Greek Tax Law.

• Reviewing and producing voyage results. • Recording revenues (time charters, freights, demurrages, dispatches and pool revenues).• Monitoring and reviewing disbursement accounts (DAs).• Treasury services (full monitoring and reconciliation of Cash balances). • Participation in year-end closing procedures (accruals, cut-offs, provisions).• Posting general entries and reconciliations in trade payables, trade receivables, revenue and intercompany balances.
