I started as an Associate Planner in the Service Planning section with five garages performing analyses, service changes, and public outreach. Many more opportunities have come my way including serving as the project manager for the Mobility as a Service pilot project that's currently under development where I'm leading multiple agency divisions from developing a scope of work to meeting with vendors, coordinating directly with the CEO and senior management, managing integration development with external vendors, and speaking to the Board and other agency partners about the exciting project. I also serve as the project manager and service planner for the Pace On Demand service and software contract where I address operational issues, manage software, work on pilot projects to expand capacity or trial new ideas, and evaluate system performance. Some other duties include helping to develop the annual department budget for the service planning section and reviewing and synthesizing the latest industry developments, research, and legislation in support of advancing agency initiatives and finding ways to innovate within the agency.

I am a Transportation Planner with a passion for transit planning. I performed transit planning analyses for both bus and rail projects consisting of string line diagrams, preliminary bus lane analyses, proposed service schedules, and O&M cost analyses. In addition, I oversaw FDOT Park and Ride biannual inventory and annual luminosity study through site visits, data collection and evaluation, work orders for needed maintenance repairs, and final documentation / reporting. I enjoy public outreach and engagement events on various projects.

I worked in many roles for Universal beginning front-of-house at Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rockit! in 2010 and ending my career back-of-house writing technical documentation in 2017 with many different roles in between. As a technical writer, I updated each attraction's Standard Operating Procedures Manual after extensive field observation and review including meeting with each attraction’s management team to resolve procedural issues and review documentation. I also developed supporting / secondary documentation including General Operating Procedures, Trainer Guides, etc. and published the final documents in the company's documentation database.
