Possesses intermediate level knowledge and performs varied assignments with proficiency in the application of theory and analytical techniques to solve diverse problems and complete extensive analysis• Electrical system modeling including grounding, load flow, short-circuit, and arc-flash analysis using software such as EasyPower 10.0• Conduct reviews of Critical Business Reviews (CBRs) and support for emergent work for outside firm providing Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning of multiple wind generation sites• Review design and oversee completion of several generator stator coil rewinds at multiple Hydro facilities• Develop, review, or present technical reports such as improvement requisitions, studies, and analysis in a clear, concise and effective fashion• Revise/Review construction documents for the installation of new or modifications of existing power generating facility electrical systems using program such as AutoCad• Perform Project Management duties on electrical discipline projects as section lead or as overall project lead• Prepare engineering cost an man-hour estimates and schedules• Resolve and develop solutions to routine problems which usually require additional definition/clarification before analysis can begin• Coordinate departmental and divisional project studies and reports• Provide guidance, leadership, instruction and mentorship to less experiences staff members• Prepare capital investment risk analysis for board approval of multi-million dollar projects• Inspect generator (rotor and stator) during outage at multiple plants and provide report to all parties while adhering to deadline• Inspections also include other rotating machines, large power transformers, generator circuit breakers, isolated phase bus duct, motor control centers• Projects performed in power generation technologies (simple cycle and combined cycle natural gas, coal, hydro, solar, wind, and energy storage)
