Was a permanent member of project triage before any business case was submitted to CI PRG for approval.- Monthly review of balance sheet reconciliations and sign-off of monthly DQ.- Acquired additional responsibilities with management of ES IT budget and other support units including Finance and Risk. - Tracked sales and inforce volumes actuals and forecast to determine correct scale of operations, then set targets direct with the MD and GM’s for the budget planning cycle.- Heavily involved in preparation and submission of 3-year strategic business plans to the Boards with respect to expense management and impact on products.- Performed many ‘deep dives’ for the CI business on FTE, travel, credit card and consulting spend, providing advice to the business to make decisions. - Led the complex annual allocation review update for the Life and Super business, ensuring all key stakeholders were engaged.- Leading the transition of the expense management finance function to AIA, involved in many integration and synergy discussions providing input into the merger, including ledger, TSA, project reporting, payroll, credit card and GST implications.
