• Lead the operations function of the logistics team to achieve business performance targets around DIFOT, inventory efficiencies, cost management, quality service and high safety standards.• Set targets and KPIs for the Warehouse team, Customer Service & Transport Teams.• Oversee internal and 3rd Party warehouse activities to ensure inventory accuracy and efficiency of inbound & outbound operations.• Ensure compliance with OHS, CoR, security, and inventory accuracy controls.• Guide, support, motivate and develop Logistics team towards a shared vision of continuous improvement and best in class results.• Negotiate rates, analyse costs, and maintain service agreements across supplier network.• Manage compliance, quality control, and quality assurance standards and specifications.• Manage departmental operating costs, ensuring resource planning is within budget and meets workload forecasts.• Project Management and Implementation of ERP systems across multiple functions including warehouse, transport and customer service.• Proficient in SAP & M3 infor ERP systems.

• Managing and leading Third Party Warehouse and Customer Service team• Act as the key liaison between Warehouse Operations, Customer Service and Transport functions• Client liaison - ensuring all deliveries meet agreed contractual SLA's in relation to DIFOT• Ensuring team is OH&S and COR compliant • Minimising all variable operating costs to keep below distribution budget• Accountability for OBSL and best practice distribution process• Design and implement strategic plans that ensure distribution network meets operational, quality, financial and customer service objectives• Formulate learning and development programs for team members

*Manage operational relationship with third party warehouse network. *Ensure 3PL partner is adhering to warehouse best practice specification and contractual performance standard. *Implement national inventory processes and procedures to ensure the safe and efficient storage and handling of consumer goods. *Lead, coach, mentor and develop the inventory team. *Develop and implement improvements to existing operational procedures to maximise efficiency and cut operating costs. *Manage scheduled stock takes and cycle counts in line with key performance targets and auditing requirements.
